Requirements:
BS degree with 4-6 years of experience or MS degree with
2 years of experience (in an industrial setting) in cell
biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology or
a related scientific discipline is essential. We prefer
a broad based scientific background or an individual who
is highly motivated to learn many different techniques.
This experience should include working in a GLP or GMP environment
as well as mammalian cell culture, cell biology, growth
and maintenance of adherent and non-adherent cell lines,
transient and stable transfection of DNA, plus ELISA assays.
Also high through-put cell based assays, immunocytochemistry,
Western blotting, protein production, purification and analysis
are highly desirable. Experience in basic molecular biology
and biochemical techniques, including PCR, cDNA library
production and cloning, DNA/RNA production, Northern/Southern
analysis is a plus. The candidate should have working knowledge
of Word and Excel.
